Highlights of my adventures so far

I have a question, and I hope someone can give me an answer. This question has been on my mind for a while now and I just don't get it. Ready? Here it is: Why do people wait for so long before they allow God to love them? Why wait on the best thing that will ever happen to you? Are you afraid that you're going to have to give something up? Because if you are, you're worrying about the wrong thing. You don't give anything up by accepting Christ to come into your life, you GAIN. The only way you are giving up is if you wait, because you're giving up a life that could be better than your imagination could ever create.
Let me leave you with a challenge. Don't push God away anymore. Don't wait any longer- you're MISSING OUT. Don't be so scared, He has a better life in plan for you than you have for yourself. Give it a try, and if you're not convinced....well, you won't be.

My Narrative so far

Well, before I decided to make YWAM (Youth With A Mission) a part of my life, I had everything I wanted. I had a great job that paid well, gave me benefits and time off. I had great hours, the commute was awesome and the people were fun. I had a nice car with the works- everything I wanted and more, and for a good price. Also, I was living at a great place, with the people who cared for me the most- my parents. In my mind, I had it all.
Then come DTS (Discipleship Training School) at YWAM (Youth With A Mission) in Denver, Colorado and I left it all. I left my job, sold my car, and left my parents house (which was free to stay at) and come live in an unknown place where I knew no-one and where I had to raise money to stay.
But something happened to me since I have been here at YWAM Denver. I no longer have anything to hide: everything I was has been put out in the open and now everything I am exisits because of that. Imagine that, all the things I was so afriad of revealing were actually keeping me from living in complete freedom. I'm not saying that now I have everything all figured out. I only hope to express some of the joy I have recieved from allowing God to do what He sees best.
So, if any of you want to share in this life of complete Joy and unconditional Love, the invitation is here. It's always here, in the moment that you are ready to accept it. Never there, it isn't far away.
Anyways, God loves you and He wants to show you all the better things He has for you. Be Blessed,
   Stacy

P.S. I will keep constant updates on here for any of you who want to follow what's going on in My adventures in life.

About Jesus Freaks movie webisodes

Here's to the world if you're wondering what life would be like with Jesus. Here's to you if you think He won't accept you just as you are. Here's to the broken if you feel like there's no hope. Here's to the rest of you who have been there and done that, and maybe are still wrestleing with it all. Here's to you who have accepted and can call yourself by this name of "Jesus Freak" and arn't ashamed of it. Check this out, watch the webisodes, and share them with everyone you know. God Bless you and know that you're never too messed up, broken, widowed, fatherless, or however else you might classify yourself, that He won't take you back.

Teachings and Doings...

The last six weeks I have spent in daily lectures and teachings and have gotten a lot of info that will effect the rest of my life. Also, I have spent many hours in prayer and worship as the schedule of the day brings us through. But one thing I have gotten out of it all, and that through the personal study of God's Word is this (and if all the world come to understand this, things would change): God wants us to disciple others because He wants to have a personal relationship with every single person in the world. And as we disciple others, they are transformed in such a way that they in turn desire to be in a relationship with God. So then, there is this constant circle of Love and Relationship flowing around and if each person caught a drift of it, well, dare to imagine. Except, why only imagine when the greatness of something is so seemingly attainable? So rather,  today I am leaving you with a challenge. Live in such a way that declares the love God has for everyone, proclaim how He desires intimate relationship with them, and develop in them a love/desire for God simply by your actions (if necessary, use words).
