June-August

Hey everyone!

So, the last thing I wrote to you was that I was beginning the Summer Quarter here at YWAM Denver with the W.I.S.E. school. It's a secondary program you'd take after your DTS that goes in depth about Worship, Intercession, Spiritual warfare, and Evangelism. When I first found out I would be staffing this school, I was ecstatic- I couldn't wait for it all to begin. 

   

Here's a few things we've done:

• We kicked things off with a friend of ours from Justice House of Prayer in San Diego, teaching on Prayer and Intercession. Into a week of Freedom in Worship led by a few of our own staff. "Gifts of the Spirit" taught by an awesome woman and prophetess of God, Amy Sullers, who is also part of our Kona team (whom we stood side-by-side through the next two weeks of Circuit Riders).
• Circuit Riders- an intense, rapid-fire, revival course for anyone who wants it, went for two weeks. There, my "small group" of four was accompanied by seven others, and it took off like a wild fire. These 120 revivalists ranged from 16 to 60 something years in age, all sorts of back rounds, and a unique testimony that screamed "I have something others need to know about- Jesus". We were taught how to preach the good news and that the "Good News", really is GOOD news!!! And that was enough for me. We learned how to Gather Community, Steward The Presence(of God), and Do The Basics: Save The Lost, Revive The Saved, and Train Them All. Then we put it all into practice. Going out onto College campuses, malls, streets, buses, wherever people were, we showed the Love of God through healings and miracles, prophecy and words of knowledge, giving and serving, and simply listening to peoples stories. And God was faithful! We saw blind eyes see, lame men walk, shame lifted, and hearts set free! And the great thing is, these were just everyday people like you and me, who decided to wake up each day and hear what was on God's heart and allow themselves to be moved enough to DO something about it. You can do it too!!!
• As if those last weeks weren't enough, our speaker couldn't make it the next week, so we packed everything up and road tripped to Kansas City, MI to join the Circuit Riders for another week! It was full of worship that I've never heard before! This generation, young and old, found God's soft spot- adoration.
• Back in Colorado, our next speaker from Bethel led us through a week of Supernatural Evangelism, where we learned that Joy is one of our greatest weapons in the spiritual realm. Followed by another amazing woman of God, a mother who found that prayer IS powerful and spoke on Spiritual Warfare.

We still have three more weeks to go this Summer quarter, and I can't imagine what God is going to do! Next week, we will hear on Revival History from a good friend of ours. Then, the week after, Community Transformation, kicking off another road trip to Las Vegas- where we want to see transformation now more than ever. We hope to partner with our YWAM base there as well as with other churches for street evangelism, worship, and taking back the streets for the Lord...and, we WILL see it!!!

After we arrive again in Colorado, we will have some goodbye parties and send our students off. Some are going to fuel moves of revival that have already begun, while others will go back to families, churches, or colleges to share what they've learned and bring revival there!
