So, today I found myself giving everything that I have been fighting for to the Lord, yet again. And it wasn't because they were bad things, it's just that I forgot a very important part of why I was fighting for it in the first place.
Honestly, if's worth fighting for because God laid it on my heart to do. But, the truth is, He is the one who fights for it, not me. I was beginning to rely on my own strength and the thing hadn't even started yet. Also, I was beginning to worry and have my doubts that maybe He wouldn't come through on His part. But then I realized that where He calls, He provides!
And when these things happen and we find ourselves handing it over once more to the Lord, it's not something of a failure. We live and we learn, and then we do it right! So, maybe I'm just writing this for myself to remember further down the road, but maybe it's to offer some encouragement to someone who feels like you "did it again". God isn't looking for perfect people, He's just looking for willing people. People who are willing to try and fail, and then try again.
With God all things are possible! God said that He would never leave us, but He never told us we'd never fail at something. Yet, we have the assurance, that whatever happens, He will still be there!
