So, just last week I began staffing at our Boarders DTS school in our mountain campus. Everything is great! We started off this first week committing the next 5 months to God and worshiping Him- I've never felt more like myself than now!
All these years and I had been finding my identity in the things I do (ministry, skate, etc.) and in the people I am around (friends, family). But I've found that who I really am isn't something I have to work to become, it comes as natural- because it's who God made me to be! ...why would I want to be anything else?! So, I've purposed to only live in my true identity and not care about how others view me or their expectations of me to become. As for me, I will live for the Lord!
That's just a side note. Actually I'm writing this post because I need some help financially, and I want anyone who wants to be a part of it to have the opportunity. Because I am working a "Boarders" DTS, we go snowboarding. This year we get the opportunity to go to the X-GAMES and be a light there for the Lord. I would love to go, but I have to pay off my lift ticket before then, $250. (Now, that might not seem like a lot to you, but as a missionary there isn't much to spare in the budget). Currently, I have none of it and not really any way of making any money on the side.
