...He will change your life forever. It doesn't matter what you were doing before you met Him, because everything after is far greater!
Before I knew Jesus (really had a relationship with him), I was afraid, worried, doubtful, "alone", and depressed. There was no real meaning to my life, because to me, God was just a ruler in the clouds, who told me how to live my life, and wouldn't listen to me if I didn't do things right. If that was the truth, I would have failed miserably. But, the truth is, That God who lives "in the sky" loves us and wants a relationship with us- just so we can do life together! And Jesus?...well, He set me free from all those things that imprisoned me from myself and from God (the irrational fear, doubt, insecurity, etc I mentioned earlier). And Holy Spirit? He introduced me to joy unending...and I haven't gone back since!
The thing about Jesus is this: he's beautiful...He brought me to the Father so I could see that He wasn't angry at me. He saved from myself- a life spent in agony through thoughts of my "insufficiency". He made me whole again when I thought I'd always be less-than. I became Wanted, instead of Forgotten. And I no longer hold a sign around my neck that says I'm broken- though in ways, yes. But it's different now! I'm not broken down, I broken for. Broken for those who are were I once was. Broken to see their hearts restored too. Broken to see freedom in them. And that's just THE THING...the thing about Jesus is that He is also called Freedom.

He Is Freedom from religion, Freedom from fear, Freedom from conditional, Freedom from what's within, Freedom from our past, Freedom from our sin, Freedom from tyranny, Freedom from friends.
Freedom that's unending, Freedom that's free, Freedom that takes away suffering, Freedom that takes the blame,
Freedom that's extending out to you and me, Freedom that covers defeat, Freedom that wins!
If this freedom you want, you can have it, it's yours. Because this freedom is a gift, and He sits waiting to be received.
